MEET YOUR BIRTH AND POSTPARTUM TEAM
This event will be held in Newhall on Sunday, October 27th from 1:00p-3:00pm. Expecting and new parents will be given the opportunity to meet with, and get information from various perinatal professionals that serve the Santa Clarita Valley. Vendors include: labor doulas, postpartum doulas, therapists that specialize in PMADs, Pelvic Floor Specialists, midwives, sleep specialists, chiropractors, CPR instructors, etc.
Registration will open on October 1st.

Intuitive & Holistic Natural Birth Classes
Alternative Birth Series is designed for families who are planning to give birth at home or at a birth center. These classes focus on natural birthing. These classes include an abundance of handouts, visual tool, hands on techniques for labor support, videos of pregnancy, labor & delivery. We also explore the processes of labor and delivery, along with preparation—both physical and emotional–for birth. We explain the importance of nutrition, educate you on your anatomy while pregnant, teach and practice techniques of labor & delivery positioning, labor support(doula), partner support, newborn care, breastfeeding along with postpartum care and support. These classes will also cover water birth options, positions and questions answered by a Midwife or Midwife assistant.

Labor of Love L.A. Childbirth Education Class
Labor of Love offers a variety of Childbirth Education Classes. These classes are taught by Jennifer Buonamassa
These classes will provide you with the information and resources to educate and support you to make informed decisions and empower you to have the birthing experience you desire.
- 1 Day Class ( 6 hours of instruction)
- 2 Day Weekend Workshop ( 12 hours of instruction)
- 4 Week Series ( 2.5 hours of instruction 1 night a week for 4 weeks)
- Private Classes available in your home ( 6 hours of instruction)
- Refresher Classes also available ( 3 hours of instruction)
These classes will provide you with the information and resources to educate and support you to make informed decisions and empower you to have the birthing experience you desire.
